Keeping yourself and your family dentally fit isn’t difficult or costly and can make an enormous difference to how you feel about yourself.

Dental problems can contribute to a lifetime of oral and general health issues and many are preventable, which is why working with your dental team to care for your health is so important.

Denplan monthly payments are individual to each Dental Clinic. At SmileWorks our whole ethos is that ‘prevention is better than cure’ and for this reason we keep our monthly payments as affordable as possible. This allows us to care for your dental health within your budget.

Denplan Essentials

Enables you to support a preventive approach to your dental healthcare and covers your routine dental examinations at SmileWorks in Brighton, tests, x-ray pictures, advice and dental hygienist visits and can start from as little as £8.25 per month.

No pre-assessment of your oral health is necessary and your dentist will advise how often you need to be seen and exactly how much your individually tailored dental plan will cost, enabling you to spread the cost of your ongoing preventative care.

Our Denplan Care prices all include optional worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover. If you choose not to take out this optional insurance the monthly fee is reduced by 60p.

Routine dental care includes:

• Check-ups (up to the maximum detailed in your contract)
• Scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatment (up to the maximum detailed in your Contract)
• Dental x-rays
• Any additional treatment specified as included by the dentist in your contract
• Preventive dental advice

Denplan Essentials does not cover:

• Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures (at the discretion of your dentist)
• Laboratory fees and prescriptions
• Any treatment excluded by the dentists in your contract which is payable by you to the dentist
• Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
• Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
• Sedation fees

Should it become necessary we’ll provide any other treatment at a 10% discount on our normal fees.

Denplan Care

also supports our preventive approach to dentistry but in addition covers the cost of any routine dental treatment.

We’ll assess your dental health and agree a programme of preventive dental care with you and let you know the monthly fee for your ongoing dental care and treatment. Any outstanding treatment required is usually completed before your Denplan Care agreement begins.

Routine and restorative dental care includes:

• Check-ups
• Hygiene treatment (including scaling and polishing)
• Dental x-rays
• Necessary fillings
• Preventive dental advice and therapy
• Any necessary extractions
• Periodontal (gum) treatment
• Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (excluding laboratory fees)
• Root canal treatment

Denplan Care does not cover:

• Laboratory fees and prescriptions
• Any treatment excluded by the dentist in your contract which is payable by you at the private fee rates
• Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
• Treatment carried out anywhere other than by your registered dentist
• Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
• Sedation fees

For all Denplan agreements there is a one-off registration fee payable equivalent to one month’s fee.

Your payment is collected by Denplan monthly by Direct Debit.

Family discounts of up to 15% are available if one Direct Debit covers more than one Denplan client registered at SmileWorks living at the same address.

If you are already a Denplan client and would like to move your care to SmileWorks this is very easy. You simply cancel your plan giving 28 days’ notice and we will organise for you to be re-registered so that there is no lapse in your care.

Denplan for Children

• Denplan for Children is a flexible payment plan which is ideal for making sure your child gets the best possible dental care from an early age.
• The category your child is placed in is based on the condition of their oral health and the amount of treatment they will need.
• The dental plan focuses on preventive care by providing you with an easy and economical way to pay for your child to have regular dental check-ups. This is fundamental if the early signs of tooth decay or abnormalities are to be picked up and treated quickly.
• Our Denplan for Children prices all include optional worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover. If you choose not to take out this optional insurance the monthly fee is reduced by 60p

Please remember that your routine treatment is at the discretion of the dentist and the contract is with your dentist, not Simplyhealth Professionals.

• Denplan Membership is an excellent way of ensuring you have access to the dentist of your choice
• All routine and any restorative dental treatment by your preferred dentist is paid for separately as and when you need it.
